Be careful, installation will clear the phone settings. Before you install, make a backup of your apps and settings.
I recommend installing on Windows 7 32/64 bit, Windows 10 has unexpected problems, mainly due to poorly installed drivers.
Only use version QFIL from attachment, newer versions do not work properly.
Installation instructions:
1. Install the drivers, expand the Lenovo_USB_Driver_1.1.23_Setup.ZIP archive from the attachment (install the unsigned drivers several times, the second option is highlighted in blue) and restart the PC. Warning: These drivers work for most people. Who would have the problem of writing "No port available" in the Qfil window (see the instructions below), try installing Qualcomm's alternative drivers (Drivers.zip).
2. Download the archive P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL from https://yadi.sk/d/hY3kNWJGrnpCU, expand it to disk in C: \ P1a42_S288_160721_ROW_RAW_QFIL
3. Expand the QPST.2.7.422.rar archive from the attachment and install the QFIL burning program - search for QPST between programs, run QFIL
4. Let's burn the ROM to your phone:
- Turn off the phone
- Press and hold the Volume + button and connect the phone with the USB cable to the PC
- If everything is OK, the phone will shortly vibrate and in a very short moment, the Lenovo sign will appear on the screen, which immediately goes out, right now Volume +
- Qfil launches, this window opens - if you have the drivers installed correctly, the text of the "Qualcom HS-USB QDLoader 9008" and the port number in the bracket - may be different. If the drivers are not installed correctly there is the text "No port available", then it does not make sense to continue, the installation will fail.
5. Click on the top Browse button as shown in the above figure and select prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn in the Programmer path, then click on the Load XML button to select rawprogram0.xml and then patch0.xml, click Download to start the burning process A few minutes, in the status window, the text gets bigger and the percentages are visible, the message "Finish Download" ends and the phone restarts. Disconnect your phone from your PC and close QFIL on your PC.
6. Who wants to have a pure origo ROM in the phone can end here.

7. Next we go burn unlocked Bootloader + TWRP recovery and do ROOT:
- Turn off the phone
- Press and hold the Volume + button and connect the phone with the USB cable to the PC
- If everything is OK, the phone will shortly vibrate and in a very short time the Lenovo sign will appear on the screen, which immediately goes out, let go Volume +
- Run QFIL and check if there is no "port available" in the window. Click on the top Browse button and, as in the picture below, select prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn in the Programmer path, then click the Load XML button and select rawprogram0_aboot + twpr.xml and patch0.xml.
Now watch! Now, click the Download button and press and hold Volume + and Volume on the phone until QFIL reboots and goes into TWRP recovery.
- Disconnect the phone from the PC and close the QFIL on the PC
8. In the TWRP, you can install ROOT as follows:
- upload the BETA-SuperSU-v2.72-20160510112018.zip file onto the SD card
- jump to TWRP -> press the Power, Volume +, and Volume-> buttons once the phone is turned off -> leave as soon as the Lenovo logo appears
- In TWRP, choose Install and select the above SuperSU file
- After installation, restart the system
- if the update of the binary file appears after you start the phone, allow it as Normal

If you do not work, you will not be able to burn the ROM to your phone, try going to another PC, this will usually help. There have been few cases where an unknown thing in the configuration of a particular PC has prevented the correct installation of the drivers, respectively. The correct operation of the manual. The problem was not detected, but it did work on another PC.
